Due to popular demand. Melbourne-based acoustic trio Sunshine Tip are heading back to the creek for another stellar show! They'll be playing modern, dark, alt-country originals. David Bowers (guitars, vocals), Dee Hannan (mandolin, vocals) and Alice Garner (cello) bring to Archie's Creek their evocative, sometimes melancholic but always catchy songs, sparsely and imaginatively arranged and featuring sweet interweaving vocal harmonies. Sunshine Tip members channel a wealth of musical experiences across many genres to their foray into alt-country/Americana - from rock to lounge, jazz, funk, electronica, Greek and Irish. VAN WALKER & BAND

Van Walker is an Australian musician from the island state of Tasmania and an extremely prolific songwriter in the genres of folk, country and rock, with poetic lyrics that explore a range of personal and social themes. He is known for his distinctive gravely voice and finger style guitar playing, and has been praised for his ability to tell compelling stories through his music and songs. In addition to his work as a musician, Van Walker has also collaborated with other artists and worked as a producer and co-writer, fronting the bands Livingstone Daisies, The Ferriters, Heartbrokers, Goatpiss Gasoline, Hexham Heads & The Swedish Magazines. He is also a member of the celebrated Vandemonian Lags Theatre production including a cast of revered Australian musical luminaries. Fresh from tours of Ireland and Canada in August and September last year, plus a run of Australia with Ella Hooper, having wowed festival audiences nationally and internationally such as Port Fairy Folk Festival in Victoria, Dashville Skyline in NSW, and the world's biggest Irish festival The Fleadh Cheoil in Mullingar, Ireland with his unique take on the classic Irish songbook, plus original material, ("One of the finest songwriters in the country." Jeff Lang), Van is highly regarded within the Australian music scene and has received ongoing critical acclaim for his contributions to the industry.
